Application Approved - How long until they send my passport back?

What is the average wait time between application being approved to receiving my passport back?

Need to know for work travel arrangements as I can't go anywhere without my passport!

Your express post tracker should get activated once your passport is ready for dispatch.

It's still not activated, on another thread I was told 4 weeks, which I believe; but it seems awfully careless to withhold someone's identification like that for almost 2 months if they actually take that long AFTER making the decision....
