Application Approved Check Messages but no message

Hello.

I applied for proof of citizenship in July 2023, my mother is a Canadian Citizen and I was born in USA. My timeline is as follows

July 8 23- Your application was submitted
November 11- AOR
December 15- Your application was sent to PSU

February 19 2024- Final decision made: approved. Check your messages.

March 8 24- Your application status has changed (they just updated the portal)

I’ve checked for the message on the portal, and my email, but there is no additional correspondence. The only thing it shows me is my documents with my document number and the date it was updated.

I don’t have any new messages or emails, and I have not received my certificate in the mail yet. Has anyone had this issue? How did it take to come in? Thanks!

Did you request a paper or electronic certificate? If paper, it should come in the mail soon. If you selected electronic certificate, get an invitation code for the IRCC portal at https://ircc.canada.ca/visit-visiter/en/get-account-ircc-portal and then create an account at https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signup?lang=en. (The IRCC Portal is diffferent fron your IRCC secure account - it's confusing but they are working on a unified client portal.)

You can also call the IRCC call centre at 1-888-242-2100 or submit a web form at https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx to get a status update.

I requested a paper certificate. So, even if I don’t have any messages about them confirming they mailed it, it will still come in the mail?
