Also interesting, thanks for posting!

OMG at Singapore, what the hell is that office doing.

What I still don't get is why so many of the offices that have lower approval rates have shorter processing times... You would think the countries with the highest % would also be the fastest to process because in theory the higher the % the lower the fraud...

Why does Hong Kong have a relatively low approval rate? How come?
Southern China is a hotbed of marriage fraud. Applicants from Hong Kong itself seem to be more successful on average.

I'm guessing applicants from Singapore itself have few problems, but the Singapore office is also responsible for several south-east Asian countries, which do seem to have long processing times in general.

It is clear that you need to do a good solid homework to get succesful applications in low rate countries. 69% for Hong Kong seems low because of many fraud cases. Yet, I believe with a solid case and evidence there should be no problem. Lets see the glass 69% full and not 31% empty.

Exactly. 69% is not that bad. That means about 70% get approved. I'm not concerned that HK has a lower approval rating because I know our case is strong. I am also fairly confident that our application will be approved within the 20%, and probably faster than 7 months.

We'll know soon enough!!

My husband and I, same sex couple were married in Mexico City, start to finish two weeks. He is a Mexican citizen, I am a US citizen, we reside in Mexico, because the country of my birth refuses to accept our relationship. We were married before a judge, 15 minutes and we were done!
