Hello,

Today I called IRCC and found out that my application was approved. Does anyone knows how long it takes for an update in the profile and for COPR?

Was your application transferred to a local VO, already? As it will all depend on the current work load of the VO. For example, some applicants have been approved since October but have not received their COPR from Etobicoke.

I have no idea about transfer to local VO. As per my understanding my Visa office is Ottawa and application has been approved.
I hope I get my COPR soon as my work visa is expiring next month.

Most in Canada applications are processed in Ottawa, once approved, it gets transferred to VO (usually near your city of residence) for COPR issuance. My case, it took Etobicoke 2.5 months to release my COPR two weeks ago.

you can always apply for BOWP when your wp is nearing expiry. If you get COPR before your BOWP is approved, you can request for a refund.
