Application 99.5% done - bad case of nerves

Well, here we are, with the application basically done. We painstakingly collected our relationship evidence, explained each bit as best we could, printed off and described photos from the wedding, honeymoon, and the other three trips we took together, checked and double-checked the forms, tried to address our 'red flags' as best we could, and just need to review everything one...more...time...

Did enyone else get a case of the nerves right before mailing the package? It's like I feel we have no control once the courier takes it off our hands. God, please let there be no "OMG, we forgot..." moments...

My wife, the applicant, is calmer than I am, LOL.

This will be going through Singapore, which seems to be clearing applications much quicker these days (I wonder what's up with that?)

Ohhhh I stll remeber the day we shipped our package. That feeling cant be expressed in words
DO the last review of the app as a CIC agent once again. Do review the form where you have to wite your names in native language, this is what people usually miss, check all the signatures, N/A fields, Dates on all the forms and cross check the dates that you have written same in different forms for different questions.

No, that feeling certainly can't be expressed in words, LOL.

Reviewing this puppy for the umpteenth time is my job the next few days, as it's the single most important application e've ever made in our lives.

I find it's good to have a friend or family member who was not involved in preparing the app do a quick scan-through of all the documents, to make sure everything is filled in and signed where it needs to be.

Often the people that spend all the time preparing the app, are more likely to miss small errors or a signature or something.
