Hi,

I received a letter from CIC on 8 Nov 2012 asking for the ROPR Fees, Police Certificates (India and Bahrain) and Medical Tests.

I initiated the medicals on the 5th of December for my family. All the medicals are fine, except my wife's urine analysis for which she has to undergo another test next week. (26 December).

I have received the Police certificates from India and submitted the request for Bahrain which will be received on 3rd of January.

Given this situation, I am worried that the Medicals/Bahrain Certs might not reach the CIC before the 60 day deadline. I however plan to send the Indian certificates and ROPR Fees with a covering letter explaining my circumstances. Should this be sufficient or do I need to do anything else? Please advise urgently.

Thanks,

Sainamo.

I suggest you send along copy of the claim stub/receipt of your Bahrain PCC together with the other documentations so that you have proof that you already applied for the pcc and just waiting for the release. OR you can just ask CHC for extension of your deadline explaining the issue so that you dont have to pay courier twice. Hope this helps.

Hi Sainamo,

I had a similar issue where the PCC from India was not available but only a character certificate issued from local police station was getting delayed. So I had sent a letter explaining the circumstances. They never asked for the PCC again and even sent the PPR immediately after the medicals was done.

My suggestion is that you send as many proofs and a letter mentioning the circumstances and it will work in your favor.

Hope it helps.

Regards

Me too I received Medical Request and PCC in early November and I am done with everything. My package hasn't received LVO yet, and my deadline is on 29 December.

I pray that it will reach there before Holiday.

I forgot to say that my medicals were already received by LVO and I had the third line in my ecas

Update form and landing money is sent, but still we did not get the medical request. My case is submitted through a famous agent in karachi and I am living in Saudi Arabia, from last 10 years. The case started in October 2009. I last submitted my papers on 15-november-2012 (passport copy, update form, new pics of my family, and recent documents of my relatives in canada). I want to know why I didn't get the medical request? Please can anyone help me? And tell me the process after this. Thanks, Abid

Thanks. That is really a good sign. Will do as you have recommended. I am worried about the medicals though. These might not reach the CIC in time.

Hi Sainamo!

Did you get your Bahrain PCC yet? I applied for mine in mid December and I'm guessing it'll take a while.

Upwardspiral,

I went to the directorate on 30 Nov and they gave me an appointment for 12 dec. received my PCC on 23rd Dec. my wife's took a bit longer, came on the 30th Dec. when have you submitted your application/fingerprints?

You can call them after 2 weeks of submission on 17365073 and ask for Abdulla Nasser. Very nice guy who will let u know if ur certificate is ready. U can then go and pick it up. Also check all the fields before collecting it.
