just for info for everybody. Vienna is also able to send out registered mail with passports (Here I do not know if they offer it just for the Schengen area or for other european countries as well).
I was choosing the last option, where it was simply stated, that they will return it by standard mail. But that standard mail is actually registered mail. I will know in the evening if all went ok.

So i haven't got the passports yet,last week I wrote an email to Vienna waiting for a reply and hoping that they will return our passports as soon as possible

Hi guys.
Is anybody asked for a Certified Criminal Record Check from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) by Vienna VO?
As far as I know only people who lived in Canada more than 6 month are requested for this check. But I lived in Canada only for 2 weeks. I am interested are they ask everybody for this check or only me.

I'm also hearing about this request for the first time, I don't know anybody who was there on exploratory visit and requested for this check. That's why I'm asking here, probably someone has such experience.h1tman said:

I have already passed medicine examination in April. Now I am waiting for the criminal record check from Canada.
