We are searching for flights. The best offer we were able to find for early March 2016 is LOT, around EUR 920 for two persons ??? What are your experiences?

If 920 eur is for both it is an excellent price.
I paid 2x625 eur for September 3rd.

You can fly with Air Transat from Budapest to Montreal OR Toronto, direct flight, for $800 (around 550 EUR). Both flights are on the same day (Thursday) and only once per week. From Belgrade, you can travel with GeaTours for 25 EUR to Budapest.

Agree with you. We took AirTransat for this September. Flight duration 11.40. For three of us it is less than 1300 euros (Budapest-Montreal-Toronto) + Gea 75 euros. And it is all in all around 1400 euros. Again cheaper than any flight from Belgrade. I think.

Yes that's $800 per person from Budapest to Montreal. Toronto is the same price too (direct flight).

Skyscanner does not sell tickets. It's just a search engine who will redirect you to other websites. Not all of those websites can be trusted, so I would recommend you search through skyscanner (and momondo) but then click on a trusted website such as Expedia.

Yes, it looks the same. But you're buying it for next spring. I don't think you'll find that price for this September.

@Supergirl - I've booked through Cheapoair which is similar to Skyscanner (but cheaper I think) and was a little affraid how is it going to work at the airport because we don't have a real ticket. So, I phoned Air Serbia call center (we are taking Air Serbia to Amsterdam and then KLM) and they confirmed my reservations and even had info on my connecting flight (KLM). Also, they told me that it is an e-ticket and it is enough just to bring passport while checking in (but, I'll definitelly print the mail I have).

We haven't manage for accomodation yet. I was thinking of taking a room for students with 3 meals for my husband (I'll be there for only 10 days) but it is not going as I thought. There are a lot of adds so I assumed that we can choose. But, I haven't had a positive response yet.

@darlings - yeah neghbour, I'll think of you in "warm" winter nights, we migth drop by to check if you've settled fine and are they treating you well

emiiuki, I always check-in only with my passport but I also always print out my e-ticket. Once I was flying back from London, they couldn't find my name in the system at the check-in desk and they requested I show my e-ticket. So, it is always good to have it on you.
We are hoping to rent a flat through some friends there, so it would be good to know that someone actually managed to do that
