Could you, please, provide a link for that? When I check their web site, I find tickets at price of 1500 EUR for the begining of September.

Things are changing periodically due to everyday offers, flights and needs...I checked their website yesterday...very first day with that price is on 4 Oct, but keep on checking every 2-3 hours and maybe you will get lucky if someone cancels his flight!

RPRF!

And a request to confirm he is using the same passport when entering :)

COPR is the next step I assume... does that arrive via snail mail?

Congrats.
Yes, the COPR will normally come through registered post. a.k.a snail mail.

Have you tried scyscanner.net.

They fetch details from airlines world over and give you comparisons on single page.

Hi Alok.

One question.

How did you contacted visa office in Vienna to ask for personal coming for visas?
Thru the CSE or directly via email? If it is email which one did you used?
And did they reply immediately?

Would also like to add that no prior appointment is required. So if you just want to know if going in person is possible, it is.
Dont bother emailint them. This is the exact reply I got when I asked if I can come in person. And if yes, then do I need an appointment.

Dear Sir/Madam,

this refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
You can come to our office in person from Monday to Thursday between 08:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and we will try to complete the processing by 3:00 PM.

One info for the people who want to pay online "Right of Permanent Resident Fee"

I had an issue with online payment.
Payment was rejected by CIC and my money was reserved by financial institution.
I complained to the bank and they will return my money, so now it`s OK.

Second try of online payment was successful.

What you need to do/know before online payment:

- Use Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari. Do not use Chrome. Some issues with Java platform.

"We have detected you are using Google Chrome and might be unable to use the Java plugin from this browser. Starting with Version 42 (released April 2015), Chrome has disabled the standard way in which browsers support plugins. We strongly recommend Java users consider alternatives to Chrome as soon as possible. Instead, we recommend Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari as longer-term options"

- Clear all browsing data, cash memory etc. from the browser.

- Update the browser.

- When you type your required credit card info into the online payment form be sure that you type exact address which you provided to your bank in the time of issuing the credit card.
Not the address from Immigration Application which you provided to CIC. I typed wrong my house number. Instead No 1 which was in my Bank I typed No 001 from my passport.
Also same zip/postal code and the name of the city exactly as you provided to the bank.
Otherwise payment may be unsuccessful as mine was.
Here is the link regarding this issue. Yes it is old and it is from University but this is it.
