How soon Vienna posts reply to a question sent to them?
What is the VO correspondence mail?

Have to ask them a question or two... ;D

They have always replied to my emails in max 2-3 days.

The email ID is: VIENNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
You must always have your file no / uci in the subject line.

If you are wondering about MR, then rest assured. Next week is yours.

Next week in Croatia from 5-day's week we have two days of vacation - Monday the 22nd and Thursday 25th
Hope Vienna works of the mentioned days :)

Thanks for the info alok4best !

See you guys in Calgary next year ;-)

I will not leave this group and will be able to help if possible as well ;) ;) ;)

Damn, the medicals are way too costly in Germany.

Booked an appointment in Frankfurt, and have been told of a total fee around 300 Euros.
Tried to ask if I can get some discount as I am covered by German national insurance.
But that looks unlikely.

Just for me. Some 270€ for doc and some 20 odd for lab tests.
My wife is visiting her parents in India and will get it done at a reputed hospital in Mumbai.
She will be paying equivalent of some 50€ there.. lol.

A question for ppl who have already got PPR.

When did Vienna ask to pay RPRF.

I got the MR but they have not yet asked for RPRF.
It is normal?

As some VOs ask MR and RPRF together?

You will get mail for rprf 1-2 weeks after medicals

Primarius, go for medical with old passport since its the old passport the physician as in the system. But immediately apply for a new passport like now. its roughly 2 weeks max after medical that passport request happens.

We had the same issue with my wife as she had a different surname in her old passport but that was what came with medical exam so we did the exam with old passport and wrote to VO with new passport details.

All the best!

Question...

If my passport expires in June 2016 and I want to travel to Canada in March 2016, will I have some issues then?
I mean 3 months validity of passport after the landing. Some countries has minimum 6 months rule for passport validity, I don`t know how is for Canada.

Also will my PR visa be valid till my passport expiration date (June 2016) or 6 or 3 months less (e.g. January 2016)?

How many days they gave to you in yours passport request email for submission of the passports? 30 days? Immediately?

Considering the German standard, and your field of expertise (IT) 300€ should not be the problem for you or is it?
You can always try to find another physician who has licence for medical exam... in the neighbouring countries...

Tough questions ..... :)
In my country we have the validity of passports 10 years so ... not so many people face the problems you currently have.
Why don't you contact the Visa office via mail and ask them that question?
They probably know the best, right?

You now see how privilaged are the Indian's....
Besides language barrier (the rest of us needs to translate the documentation in order to apply for FSW/PR-it also cost some money) the medical are also far cheaper than in the rest of eastern Europe....
No wonder Canda is full of India citizens expecialy the western part (BC/Vancouver)

I haven't used them so far, but a friend of mine has and she was very happy with thee service.

By the way, we did our medical exam yesterday. We were there at 9.30 and finished everything around noon. We would have finished it a bit earlier, but there was some problem with a couple before us. The doctor and the nurse were really nice :)
