Has anyone seen ITZ lately?


I would like to summon the power of ITZ's crystal ball to predict the MR arrival for me (application received at CIO 15.12.2014) and anyone else who is around that date. Early Decembar applicants got it a few days ago... Although I have medical exam booked at the end of the month, with ITZ prediction I definitely would better sleep

P.s. Since her visa was issued on 17.04.2015 maybe she's already gone to Canada?

I am not active during these days because I am doing the final preparations prior my arrival in promised land. I strongly believe that all of you will join me in Canada, sooner or later. Nevertheless, I hope that I will continue to follow the forum and be active to give you support as long as my obligations and time allows me to do so. Cheers!

Strangers I wish that you receive prompt positive reply, fingers crossed.

On the other side it seems that we have clear way in front of us.
ECAS is updated:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 7, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on May 18, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

We have sent our passports via UPS and it has been received on June 10th. Yesterday we got letter from post that we have shipment from embassy to pick up so early morning we will pick up our passports that has been sent by snail mail. I am not sure if snail mail is correct term since it took only 6 days for them to ship it and arrive.

Although there is a chance that we got rejected I am quite positive it is not the case!
So next step is to plan landing asap!

P.S. I changed flag since I feel Canadian at the moment ;D

Start looking for tickets as soon as possible, because you are in the middle of high season. Prices hit the roof , good luck!

To be honest, i did think that itz is male, but then i wasn't here lately and i assumed that you might have talked about it, and concluded opposite. nevertheless, either way it was really fun while you were active!

strangersr, we got 4. line updated day after passports returned home. ECAS isn't much of a help for anything, maybe just for 3. line 'medicals received', all other updates appear only after you get notified.

HELP Confused about online payment of adding a newborn child to my application!!

Hi Guys

I will have to make an online payment for adding a Newborn child to my application but I dont know in which category to make a payment?

1. Family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19 due to a physical or mental condition

OR

2. Fee subject to a transitional provision - Family member of the principal applicant who is under 22 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship OR is 22 years of age or older who is unable to be financially self-supporting due to physical or mental condition


By the way I dont understand what is this Fee subject to a transitional provision ??

UPDATE:
So I wrote to the embassy requesting for my passport to be sent back to me earlier due to my business trip tomorrow.
They replied me this morning saying my passport was sent back yesterday. To be honest, I don't know if it was actually stamped or just returned .
Anyways I the passport arrived at the embassy on the 12th of June and today on ECAS no futher updates yet after 3rd line..

We are going to Ontario because we have close family there. We thought to go to Alberta because "real money is there" but we left that idea for later. Somehow I believe that BC is the best province, I can't explain why. But we believe that our family will help us about settling down so we are moving to Toronto. Is there a special reason for you to go Vancouver?

We have friends there (they are the ones who supported us to apply), and our qualifications (and interests) match best there so it was the most logical choice for our application. Of course, we will need to adjust to job market and be patient with finding position to match qualifications, but Vancouver is the best place to start for me.

Finally got MR for me and my wife.
Looks like it was delayed by a week as I added my wife to the application recently.

I have been asked to complete it within 30 days.

I always thought the time given was normally 60 days.

Anyway, does not matter, as no one delays it intentionally.

And may be CIC wants us to be Canada sooner..lol..
