"Dude"

congratulations on your marriage!
It is even a bigger (HUGE !) step in the life comparing to "the transfer" to Canada - the final goal we all share on this forum.

Nevertheless, If I offended you I apologize, it was not my intention. Most people in my country, as well as surrounding countries, from which we descend consider a Germany in our dream and it seemed to me very strange to have someone from Germany who wants to move to Canada...

Haha, not offended buddy. I was just trying to say that making assumptions on incomplete information is probably not a good idea.

Anyway, regarding your other suprise about Germany. I am not a native German.
I am an Indian who is working in Germany.
From some of the experience I have had on foreign soil, I have found Germany to be the best so far.

However, there are 2 major reasons why I am forced to think a move.
i. Language: Me and my wife are too lazy to learn new language. And in Germany, the oppertunities are very less for English speakers.
ii. Long term plans: A permanent residence is always better than temporary residence if you are looking to plan your future. I am not sure where I will be 10 years from now, but a PR at least gives me a guarantee and peace of mind. So Canada fits the bill nicely.

clicked on ECAS link.
entered details and logged in.
was greeted with the age old first line update.

Quick question to those who used CC for RFPR fee payment.
I filled all details and made successful payment. However on receipt that I am supposed to send along with passports there is only my name and surename while other details such as address, date of birth, client ID, postal code, area code and telephone are empty.

Should I fill those by hand once receipt is printed, or should I leave it empty and to send receipt as is?
Thanks in advance for prompt replies!

Cheers!

Don't worry they have your personal info :D, I think barcode on the receipt contains all above details due to info protection

Just print it and send it along with the passports and notification email.

Don't worry, we had similar experience - waiting for MR more than all the others, and now the passports are on it's way back with immigrant visas ;)

I also made CC payment, filled in missing info by hand, though my cousins checked with IOM and they said it's not necessary to fill anything.
We printed additionally first page of RPRF email, just in case.
