"Dude"

congratulations on your marriage!
It is even a bigger (HUGE !) step in the life comparing to "the transfer" to Canada - the final goal we all share on this forum.

Nevertheless, If I offended you I apologize, it was not my intention. Most people in my country, as well as surrounding countries, from which we descend consider a Germany in our dream and it seemed to me very strange to have someone from Germany who wants to move to Canada...

poco, don't be surprised, Vancuver is the bait ;) , for most western European's, and there are lots of Germans in Canada too, but they usually end up Ontario.
And about "consider a Germany in our dream . . ." yup but that's economic dream, Canada is a more for a living the life dream.

I guess payment of this RFPR fee is safest to be done by CC. This will be done first thing tomorrow morning and later that day passports shall be sent ;D

I thought you shall receive it first but it I am leading once again :-)

Wow!! I thought they work until 4pm?! I guess i was wrong!
Yes, i second that rprf is safest to be paid with cc

It was your turn to take a lead again! I was, without any logic, scheduled to do an mr before you. This is the right move!

I met on this forum couple years ago a guy from germany who also moved to canada... And also to vancouver area too, i might add... And i was also surprised about their decision, but he explained it to me... The reasons are pretty much the same as are the ones from us, from balkan countries, eve though for us it seems strange...

Strangersr is right, I wasn't precise. Arrived home. VO received them last Tuesday, I wasn't expecting to get passports so fast. :)

@ ghostrideryu, congrats :)

When you receive your passports back from Vienna VO, what can a person find in them?
Is there some new stamp inside or something similar?
I mean, You get Visa at the port of entery, correct?
What documents (related to PR status) do you have to bring with you at the port of entery/customs to Canada?

Congrats to everyone who received some good news!

I hope Vienna will now have more time to deal with our MRs :D

Well yes, it is finally our time, I guess ;)

You get visa stamped inside it looks like schengen visa without picture, also you receive COPR which is a kind of letter with picture attached on it and contains your file number and personal data (stated by you in the initial application).
Both (visa and COPR) are necessary and mandatory at the port of entry.

Quick question to those who used CC for RFPR fee payment.
I filled all details and made successful payment. However on receipt that I am supposed to send along with passports there is only my name and surename while other details such as address, date of birth, client ID, postal code, area code and telephone are empty.

Should I fill those by hand once receipt is printed, or should I leave it empty and to send receipt as is?
Thanks in advance for prompt replies!

Cheers!

Guys

I received the MR on Dec 2014, at that time my wife was pregnant, I notified the VO and they postponed my case till now.
Now we expect to deliver the baby these days but I dont know if first do I have to do the Medicals for me and my family or I will have firstly to prepare the papers for baby and then to do the MEDS for the whole family. ??

I appreciate any suggestions... from someone who had the same situation.

Thanx :)

We are in similar situation, Iforti. I am expecting, too. We did the medicals in February, except my x-rays. When the baby is born we will finish the medicals. But, I would suggest for you to wait until your baby is born and then add the baby to the application and then do the medicals for the whole family. Since, it will be soon. And it is pointless going there twice.
