Hehe.
Yeah. They just acknowledged that they have received my file on 7th April.
This is what they replied.
Dear Sir,
The documents you sent have been received.
With reference to the below inquiry please be informed that your application was transferred from the Centralized Intake Office Sydney in April 2015; Your application is in queue for review.
our processing times can be checked at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp.
Processing times may vary, depending upon whether any additional documentation or an interview is required, the time required for medical examinations and changes in workload at this office.
We will contact you in due course if we need additional documents.

How could you have forgotten your wife in a initial application ?
On the application forms that you have submitted to CIC with your signature you have stated that all the info you have given is truth, and also somewhere it is mentioned that there is no possibility to sponsor your family.... if they are not listed on your forms!
On IMM 5669 you can find the declaration of applicant:
"I declare that the information I have given is truthful, complete and correct" - check the documents you have send to the VO!

Dude, not trying to sound rude, but can you please avoid passing judgements without having sufficient information.
Permanent residence is a long drawn process, it takes months, if not years to process an application.

However, in those months, the life of an applicant goes on. He can switch a job, get married, have kids, etc etc.
And when circumstances change, the applicant has to reach out to VO to update the information.

So, to answer your half informed comment: I was not married when I initially applied in Dec 2014, got married to my long time gf this year and hence I had to add her to my application..

Passports arrived this morning ;D :D
ECAS still not updated 4. line though :P

Nothing today, no MR again :o
But keep your heads up, itz told us so ;)

I just got PPR! 8)
Feeling cool!

Best of luck to others as well!

"Dude"

congratulations on your marriage!
It is even a bigger (HUGE !) step in the life comparing to "the transfer" to Canada - the final goal we all share on this forum.

Nevertheless, If I offended you I apologize, it was not my intention. Most people in my country, as well as surrounding countries, from which we descend consider a Germany in our dream and it seemed to me very strange to have someone from Germany who wants to move to Canada...
