Congrats!
WOW that was fast :D

hey, i am sorry i haven't seen your messages earlier.

so the medical exam looks like this:
- once you come at the appointed time (for us, it was at 09:15AM), you wait in the waiting room to be called (for us this lasted 25 minutes, not counting 15 minutes we've arrived earlier)
- once you are called, you go into another "office", turn in forms you have received in your email, and then look at the guy who fills it in the system with the documents and information they already have :-X :-X :-X (for us, this lasted about 20 minutes). when he finishes, he gives you two papers with which you go later on to rheumatism clinics -adults only- (resavska 69), for an X-ray,
- first, one undergoes an "exam" with a medical technician, who asks you about your medical history, height, weight, takes a picture of you, measures your blood pressure, and draws blood (for adults only), (for us this lasted forever, since the technician is extremely slow with her movements, pretty unpleasant, my kids were nervous since we've been waiting already for such a long time, and this part took forever, i'm not sure, but i think all in all about an hour for four of us)
- afterwards, you wait again in the same room, and adults are being given bottles to give urine,
- then you wait in the waiting room again (we've waited cca 10minutes)
- then we went to doctor for an examination. dr is extremely professional, has awesome people skills and is very pleasant. real refreshment after previous experience. one needs to take all clothes off (except underwear), sits on the bed for physical exam, she exams your neck, chest, abdomen, then does lungs check up with a stethoscope, and you're done. for four of us, this took about 20 minutes.
and this is it at the IOM office. now we went to resavska street
- it took us 25 minutes to find parking anywhere near, since this is mission impossible in belgrade pretty much at any time, especially on monday noon. finally, one spot freed at public garage at slavija
- once we got to the clinic, (first floor), you give your two papers from the beginning of this story and the passports to a person at the information desk, and literally for my husband and me took 2 minutes each to finish this. and this is the last thing about the medical examination.
i was sooo happy to leave belgrade at this point, you cannot even imagine. it was 1:30 PM

for me, this was pretty horrifying experience (i have a ten months old baby and another kid of 3.5). i was very very disappointed with the overall organisation of the "examination", especially because it costs so much, and they don't even bother to, for example, measure your height and weight, or fulfill your information in the system once you book an appointment, since they already have all of your info, but you have to sit there and wait for them to do so! very unprofessional! i hope that you guys won't have so much hassle about it, and they will at least start on time, if nothing else. good luck!

Hey all

as I have said, I am applying for LMIA-exempt work permit (less than 6 months) online outside of Canada, and my application will be processed in Vienna. The list of docs that I need to submit does not include family information form (5645E) and there is no way I can upload it. I wonder if that's ok or it is a mistake, because in the general guidelines it say that it should be attached. Should I submit that form in the letter of explanation document?

If yes, do I need to print it out, sign it, and scan it (there is no way to sign otherwise)? I ask because some previous threads on the forum said yes, but on the CIC website, I found this: "You do not need to sign your application form by hand if you submit your application form online. You will be asked to provide a digital signature once you are ready to transmit your documents to CIC."

Thanks!
