Well, we got rejected... The interview went terible with no chances of explanation and with some unexplainable reasons for refusal. The visa officer was rude and unpleasant.
We applied as self employed, music teacher. The visa officer asked why we haven't found a place to stay yet, and why we haven't found a job yet.... In our case students-which is practically impossible at this stage and from here.
He said that we have put an effort but better luck next time.
And also the money that we showed (30K) were not enough, not even taking into consideration the apartment that we have and plan to sell.... How can I be sure that you are going to sell?
I am very dissapointed but we'll wait for the official rejection letter... Do you think we can appeal?

Hi all, today I received request to pay RPRF. They did not ask for passport like in other cases, only RPRF which I have paid and send it to their email.
Did this happen to anyone else before or is it just me?

I got passport request and RPRF together two days ago and the email said they would return passport within 7 days after they receive it.

I think that you don't need a visa in passport since Croatians can enter Canada without a visa.
But, check this information with someone else.

Maybe you are right but when I look at the spreadsheet I see that some other people from Croatia had to send passports, or maybe they have just entered that information in a spreadsheet.
If they don't require passport, do they send you some document with approved PR or something like that? Are there any Croats that have gone through the whole procedure who could respond to this?

Calgarypr, a friend of mine from croatia only received a COPR in her snail mail, and that was it. With that, at the point of entry, you show it together with your passport and you will get there another document, till you receive your pr card. She is in toronto already, left croatin 8 days ago.

I am sorry to hear that...Probably nothing we say can make you feel any better but sincerely feel with you and I hope allmighty has better plans for two of you...

Not sure what you can do right now, I believe that the best way would be to order GCMS notes and wait for a rejection letter. I think that there is a time period in which you have to appeal to the decision.
You should post this also on other groups and present it with more details so people can understand it better and give you better answers.
Also, try to be nice if you are sending appeal, maybe now you are feeling frustrated but you don`t want to be on the bad side with immigration officers.
