Hi

My wife is pregnant too and I sent an email to the VO, they delayed the meds for me and my whole family till the birth of the baby so we didnt have to make the meds now, the whole family will make it by the birth of the baby:

this refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

You have been granted an extension to undergo the meds until end of april 2015. After the birth of your baby you and your spouse should undergo medical examinations and send us:

· Your baby's birth certificate

· 8x passport size photos for your baby.

· Proof of payment of the processing fee for the baby – please see the payment instructions at
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=Permanent+Residence

· Certified copy of the bio-data page of your baby's valid passport or travel document

· New updated Additional Family Information (IMM 5406E) form for you and your spouse.
You can find the Additional Family Information form (IMM 5406E) here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.PDF

· New updated Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (IMM 0008E) form.
You can find the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (IMM 0008E) form here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf

Hey, did you're wife give birth in Canada? They wouldn't extend my medical request till after birth, strange. I just wonder if I have to pay etc for my baby because she is Canadian already

Iforti, thanks for the info. We want to do the medicals now except for my x-ray. But, I better write them now, just to let them know.

No shes giving birth in Bosnia, not in Canada... Im not familiar with inside Canada procedures... they may vary.

Hi everyone,

I'm on VO Vienna too, under Parents & Grandparents category(with dependents), and I'd like to know how long did you wait for passport request after sending the meds?

Thank you.

Got RPRF/Passport request today. Finally (refer to my timeline).

Congrats bro. How long did they give you time in order to send your passport?

Hi,
Question for people who received MR requests recently. Did you also receive RPRF request or only MR, I am looking on other embassy and looks like they usually send those two things together. Is Vienna different in that way?
I am still waiting for my MR.

30 days

Fortunately, it's not required to send passports to Austria - they can be sent to CPP-Ottawa. Much faster and less expensive option for these who are in Canada already.

I've got MR in November '14. RPRF has been requested just now - when they requested for passports.

From medicals received to RPRF it usually takes about a month. See other post in previous pages. But, I guess, due to the holidays in Movado's case, it took a lot longer.

Many people received the PPR the day after medical received. This also has happened today for "NatasaNS" as I noticed from the spreadsheet. For somebody like me, one month is already passed but still no news. So I can say that the time it takes for the PPR depends mostly on luck.

Congratulations Movado, best of luck. I just did the meds(two days ago) and I need to resend some papers again(Schedule A/Background Declaration, Birth Certificate, Police Certificate and 4 photos) to the visa office. I hope everything is gonna be okay and they don't ask anything else but our passports :)

Hi, when did you receive request for additional documentation, before or after receiving medical request? Do they ask for additional documentation after MR is done?
I am just wondering what is delaying them so long with my medical request, do they need some documentation also.
Thank you.
