Did you receive COPR? If not I think in day or two (maybe three because weekend) you will be served :)

Still no COPRs. Anyone with any info re how long after decision made they received their COPRs?

Hi Ca7r10na! Did they update your ecas with new Canadian address?

Does anyone know if COPR is sent via e-mail or regular mail?

dear Vienna visa office applicants.

Today I brought my family passports to visa office in person. And I was surprised that visas could be issued the same day, but unfortunately I didn't know that and as I didn't plan to stay till the evening there I had to leave and asked to send my passports by registered mail. So if you are going to travel to Vienna in person please be aware that you can get visas stamped the same day: in the morning from 8:30 till 10:30 (Monday - Thursday) you can leave passports there and afternoon at 15:00 you can pick them up.

I just though that this information could be useful. :D

Hi Comix - we don't have a new Canadian address yet so no. You?

The COPRs will be sent my regular mail as far as I am aware. Our lawyer says it can take "awhile" whatever that means!

I will update when we receive ours - please do the same!

Hi, I have a little complicated situation. I was working in Canada when I have send my FSW application for PR and I had bank statement from BMO that I have $12000 CAD. Unfortunately company where I have worked was not able to secure LMIA for me and I am about to leave Canada soon. In the mean time I have received AOR but also to late to do the bridging of WP.
Now, what I would like to do is to withdraw money from BMO and bring it home and put it in my bank account at home since there is uncertainty that I will receive PR (like everyone else there is no 100% guaranty) and I don't want to go back to Canada to close my account. I want to close my account right now and not to wait until the PR decision is made because if it is negative, it would require one more trip to Canada and back. Is it ok to do that and send new POF to visa office?
Did anyone have to show the POF in the middle of the process, because if not, I will just deposit money in the bank and wait for a decision.
Please advise, I really don't know what to do.

I don't think that anyone had to show POF in the middle of the process. For example, I submitted POF with my application package in May, and that was it (meanwhile, I got medical request and I am expecting RPRF and PPR now). Nobody has asked it again, so far. I am also informed that we should show the money to the immigration officer at the airport when we arrive in Canada.

That is what I was thinking. I will close Canadian account and take the money with me, if they ask me I will give them new POF.
Tnx.
