I completed the Landing today to become a permanent resident of Canada :D

The procedure was no problem at all, and it took just about 45mins at the Abbotsford-Huntingdon border crossing: from the first passport-check with the "oh, you are landing" to signing of COPR, goods to follow list, etc. At the end, the Officer even congratulated us with a handshake. Overall, it was a great experience, and another display of Canadian friendliness.

Thank you all for your support, and good luck to all of you who are still waiting for mail from Vienna.

Didn't have time time to check this link earlier... Congratulations!! Your long long wait has finally paid off. I'm very happy for u guys!

Congrats too all of you who have received your good news lately too, of course! It seems to me that Vienna office is working much faster this year (at least regarding fsw cases) and I hope that it will remain like it by the end of the program. Thanks to all of you who've shared your detailed experiences, about activities after medical/visas/landings... It helps a lot! Who knows, maybe one day some of us will meet in a real life and laugh about the stress we've been through while waiting for visas... :-)

Guys i have one question finally we get document from employer that my wife is from 1 January on work, in personal history document that we send to Vienna we write that hi is working from 1 January. So now Should we send now the document or we should wait for they to ask ?

Congratulate!
did you send any inquiry in this waiting period or they ask you for anything?

Guys, we did our medicals on Friday (22nd of August) , they told us that they will upload the results no later than Wednesday. So now waiting for the last email from Vienna for RPRF and Passports. :)

Congratulations, Vitalia! You are almost there! Are you planning to go to Canada before the winter?

Guys, in 2 weeks it will be exactly one year since I got my PER, I am starting to worry- still no news from Vienna...should I send them a letter, or should I wait for a bit longer... :-\

We were asked for medicals just over 13 months after PER if that helps. I don't think there's anything to worry about yet

Well, we still haven't decided and we want to receive request for passports to start planning. But if everything goes well, we want to move in the beginning of next year (mid January).
As Ca7r10na, we also received medicals after 13 months of PER, so don't worry you will get it very soon. :)

If i were in your shoes, i would certainly send an email, asking about my status.
However, I see that most of 2013 applicants who got stuck up to this time, got their MRs exactly within those 15 months, better to say right at the end of the timeline stated on the gov's website.

Thanks Ca7r10na and Vitalia. Stranger, with all said above, I guess I will wait for a bit before sending an e-mail to Vienna ;).
