This is awkward after my recent rant about our beloved VO, but I am sure we can easily forgive everything, if this will happen to many of us in the next few days / weeks:

Today we got our Medical Requests, my family and myself! :D ECAS 2nd line also appeared, processing started on 5th of June.

Come on Vienna, make it happen for all of us!

Heads up everyone!
Did you get mail only with instructions for medical or you need to send new proof of funds and police certificate, too? I wonder, if they don't ask for update documents, do we need to send them anyway?

To compare with others VO, they dont pay more the fees for CIO while we dont pay less, but what we got is the slowly responsible. what is the major reason in here? In my opinion, we should get the pressure by writing for them and ask, even we could mention the deadline as CIC promise and mention other local visa office.

My guess is
(1) closure of Visa Offices in Berlin and Belgrade in 2012,
(2) strike in 2013 (even though Vienna was not officially on strike)
(3) not very enthusiastic employees due to <see 1>, with no additional officers, this changed in Jan. 2014, when additional employees were hired

Look how fast is process in PNP Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates 22 mounts..

08-11-2013 (App. rec'd)
31-03-2014 (In process)
01-06-2014 (Med. rec'd)
16-06-2014 (PPR)
Vienna what are u doing everyone is making fast process for PNP ??

They even stopped updating statistics. And holidays are behind corner which will surely slow down already impossibly slow progress.
I guess we need to be prepared on more delaying and believe that we'll get visa's before our pensions.

Lucky_mkd, unfortunately not only on PNP, but on all streams. Vienna became one of slowest VO's.

@ YodaAtCanada,

You are right, right now is the time for vacation in European, this would absolutely make slow down our expectation.
Let check the case of ilk326 who had slightly different (PER, received application came lately around 1 week), but (s)he got MR lastweek.
the differences of other criterias or the complexity of application (the number of dependant, relatives....) could affect to time to check in internal VO.

Certainly, I am sure that you will got MR soon.

I have one question for everyone here.

Is someone in the meantime wrote to the Vienna office? What would be the best reason for inquiry, that would not be stupid :P I'm February 2013 PER, additional documented requested March 2013 and after that, a heavy silence! So, the processing time is longer than announced and they must replay me, or not? I would simply ask what's going on with my application, is that ok?

Thanks for the advice!

Hi guys,

Do you know anything about time line for TWP - live-in caregiver?

Please help!
I`m getting really woried - 5 weeks after medical and still no news.
Is it normal?
They were pretty fast so far:

25.02.Application sent
14.03. Request for additional documents
25.03. Documents sent
17.04. Interview invitation
06.05. Interview
13.05. Medical done

And now silence.... :-[

FYI

Requested docs (PCC, updated Schedule A) were delivered to the Visa Office this am.
Medicals were done last month, with 3rd line on eCAS.

Now all I am looking forward to paying some more money / RPRF request ;)

Today the Visa Office requested the RPRF and Passports (copies, since we are visa exempt).
Also this info: "If you wish to have same day service, please come to our office in person. Please consult our web site (see below) for our hours of operation."

Payment has been made already, the docs will be FedExed, so this should be the last step - after more than 2 1/2 years.

Thank you all :)

@ Ca7r10na
When everything is over, I might even celebrate in accordance with your heritage - by opening a bottle of 25yr Glenmorangie or 1978 Dallas Dhu. This will definitely qualify as a very special occasion!
