Thank you very much.

I guess, we were just really, really unfortunate - first the closure of the office in Berlin, then the cic strike last year (which I believe affected every office, not only those officially on strike).
And I also think Vienna was on some kind of other "strike", too. Did you notice, that things started to roll in january, just when they had posted an employment offer for additional Visa Officers?
Coincidence? I don't think so.

Anyway, I just booked a medical appointment for tuesday. We do not want any more delays. Period ;)

And yes, we are over the moon. I just hope, it wasn't a dream, it feels so surreal.

Nice, congratulation!
did you contacted them in the past two years, i mean did you send any inquiry in that period?

Thank you.

Yes, of course I did. Several times.
In june, 2012 they replied that they would expect the next step "this fall" (that would have been 2012),
then several times last year, and finally in january 2014 they said "within the next 6 months". So at least that was true.

Wow congrats BC2013! yesterday you were congratulating a fellow forumite and today is your turn...let the rain of MR, PRV, PRR etc. continue.....

Thanks a lot, Gearman :)
No worries, nothing you could have done about it ;D
The important thing is - that they finally managed to do it.

And I truely believe, that the rest of the open applications will follow soon!

Thank you, Tom :)
Your wife will get her Maple-Leaf-Visa stamped passport back, soon.

My theory is as follows:
Notice, how many people here got MRs and updates at this time of the month. So they seem to work upon FSW (and other economic) applications at this time primarily. The rest of the time is probably primarily reserved for Family applications.
