Congratulations! At least a slight good news for a long while now.

Our VO still seems like moving in slow motion compared to others. Just seen that an Indian dude sent his application in February this year, and got MR 2 weeks ago... 10 weeks between application sent and MR. And we thought Europe is the developed part of the world.

Borojevic, do you have an information that they have been doing some background checking at your office? I applied 1,5 month latter than you, and still nothing new for me. I wonder how they do their background checking for Serbia?

Oszi, partially agree with you. But those 25k new application will not go to the pool, express entry is new system stars on jan 2015 and there is no relationship wit this new fsw program.
I agree that this new fsw program will create new backlog, also keep jobs for VO stuff. Vicious circle isn't it?

Guys, why do you keep saying that Vienna staff has endangered job positions?
I mean, despite Express Entry, Vienna will still have a lot of job to do.
Besides FSW stream they will keep on processing travel visas, family sponsorship, work permits and so on.
I believe ones when FSW became EE, Vienna will be just of right size (staff count) to process above mentioned without backlogs.

After 2015 they don't need much staff to processed visa applications because this 2014 are the last FSWP, FSTP and CEC applications year..and immigration to Canada, what was until now, will no longer exist.

Great news! You guys must be excited and SURELY you will get a passport request soon. We are living vicariously through you as have nothing of interest to report from our end. Vienna will be receiving correspondence from our lawyers soon as our points were completely incorrectly calculated as per our GMCS notes (partly because our lawyers simply did not submit my proof of Canadian high school and party who knows why) so maybe this will light a fire under them for us. Not that optimistic though. The family stream is moving with pace at moment so maybe next month will be FSW turn.

Anyway - we are crossing fingers for you guys for more news soon!
