I have created a table to compare FSW backlogs and yearly quotas by persons in regions and visa offices.

There are some significant over- and under-allocations though, so I am sure some of these quotas will change in the 2014 operational targets.

Basically dividing backlog column by quota column should tell how much time in years people should wait for FSW PR visa (counting from October 8, 2013) in different visa offices worldwide in the worst case (assuming their file was there already).

PNP status for Vienna is that backlog is 350, yearly quota is 300 currently. 13-15 months, but of course less, if you are already in the queue for some time.

I'm back from Vienna with my Work Visa stamped.

Btw, if someone will decide to get a visa in person - I can recommend a hotel 100m from Canadian Embassy and very well priced 8)

Congratulations! Vienna is awake!

I think medical date depends on how complicated your file is, did you have military service, do you claim points for things which are complicated to check, etc. If everything is all right, I think no more than 2 weeks.

And it seems like my assumption was right about FSW 2013, and they really start processing it in March. BTW my application got there the same day as yours, my PER was received on 10th of July too. So let me see that 2nd line too please! :)

Good luck for everyone!

This is good news - Congrats!
From what is available on other threads, usually the MR follows within 1-2 weeks. However, I have also read reports of much longer intervals. This is all info regarding other posts. And since we are dealing with Vienna - who knows ... ::)

i ll hope for the best
thank you

When was your ECAS updated (i.e. when did you check, and when did you check the last time before that)?
