I think somebody needs to wake them up. I am running inpatient. Maybe if they live without their partner for so long and if they see them once or twice a year, only MAYBE they would understand our situation :o :o :o

Danny I understand your point, but I wish there is an option to request file transfer to another VO .

If u have opportunity to change VO, then try. I cant and i must wait.. Wish u all the best ;)

Decided to apply for a work permit instead of never ending awaiting for a MedRequest.

Official page states 2 months for temporary visas for Vienna. Do any one has any idea how long Vienna really processing temporary visas?

Three to six weeks..wait a bit longer for MR, I feel that something will be soon ;) very very soon :D :D

MR is not the end of the Immigration process.

Also, my PNP officer sent me a friendly reminder:

The purpose of the BC PNP is that you would fill an immediate labour need. The fact that you have yet to work in BC raises concerns whether there is in fact an immediate need. I am issuing you a work permit support letter, please see attached. I will follow up with you in 4 months time. If you are not working in BC by then, your nomination may be withdrawn.

(I requested for a work permit support letter instead of the old one, which has been addressed to Canadian Embassy in Czech Rep)

I might be wrong, as far as I know, with the PNP-letter of support, you can get a work visa right at the border when entering Canada (i.e. immediately). You do not have to apply for a work permit at the visa office - this is also possible, but will take much longer.

Why don't you ask the PNP office about this? I am sure, they will tell you about your options.

That's true for these who are from visa-exempt countries. Unfortunately, I'm not.

Hi all friends

Hold on to your horses! Vienna started moving as some of our FAM thread members got notifications and other goodies from our beloved VO. So maybe your turn is coming people!

Are you sure?

Canada lifts visa requirement for the Czech Republic

Probably, the flag on the left is misleading :)

I'm a Permanent resident of Czech Republic, but not a citizen. My passport says "Ukraine" so no chances to get WP at the airport on arrival.

Come on people give some good news here ;) wake up this forum :)
