Dont worry about this. Vienna serves right now.

All...

I got a mail from Vienna aaking for original proof of funds..(point to be noted: not updated Proof of funds)

I`ve been asked to produce `Original Proof of Funds along with history of 12 months bank transaction'.

I had submitted a scanned copy of Fixed Deposit (drawn in name of my spouse from an Indain Bank) as a proof of funds , whilst filing my application.

Now my question is :

1. Do I have to send across the original copy of FD ? (and in such a case, would I get this back after the conclusion of my file ,as I need the originals to withdraw my amount back from the Bank)

2. Or Is it wise to persuade my bank to issue me a letter stating about the details of my FD, including its Start & End dates.

3. Since original proof in my case is an FD , obviously, there wont be any history associated with it for last 12 months. In that case , can I show my Bank Transactions as a proof(and my account has also got enough amount , at this point of time, which exceeds needed fund amounts)?

Hi everyone,

I have a question?

I received today the RPRF and also in the letter the visa officer is asking for a "proof of employment from employer in Canada confirming that the position is still available." Does anyone of you has a clue what is this "Proof". Is it a contract agreement or just a letter or what. I will appreciate if anyone from you could help me.

Best Regards...

the second one is good in my opinion ( I did in this way). The most important thing is that total amount of money in your account at right now is equal or more than CIC fund request. To make sure that your fund is suistable with 2014 creteria instead of 2013, double check. good luck!

I sent to them signed and sealed letter from employer in Canada that my position is still open and that the company is waiting for me. After two days they sent MR to me. So I guess that you need to contact your employer and ask him to send you updated job offer.

So, you are saying that all that I need to do is to ask my employer to write me a letter, simple letter including letterhead and to be sealed, confirming that my position is still available and that they are waiting for me. And I don't need any new contract agreement or any other document to send to VO.

Hi All,

Just needed an info on translation of bank starements.
Vienna has asked for bank transaction history for last 12 months..
Since I have got German bank account, my bank statements are in german..(though very little wordings are in bank statements) ..so do i have to get these translated to English?
Since there are so many sheets(though word content is the same in every page) it may cost me fortunes..!!
Need your advice...

You dont need to translate your bank statement, I know of a friend who submitted German bank statement without translation and everything was fine

Yes, everything has to be in english or french.

However, if you are able to retrieve them online, you might be able to switch the language setting, and then print them out in english.
I know that Deutsche Bank offers this service, so others might too.

Otherwise, you can always send an e-mail to the Visa Office and ask them about this. You might get lucky and they would be satisfied with a printout in german.

Hi Guys
Seems like Vienna VO is still stuck in 2012 and 2013 applicants and there is no chance in the near future of the 2014 applicants. Am I right or is there anyone from 2014 who got MR request from Vienna VO.

Looks like that and it's pity cause there are not many applicants for Vienna ( as per SS)
