I think no, the employer didn't say. Why?

A girl in another forum said that her employer had been contacted by visa officer. They asked him about some documents, as she said. I don't know if that was just about her or it happends often. I'm expecting my MR soon so I'm curious....

Emiiuki, I think that it happens sometimes, not so often, but it can happen. The most important thing is that you inform your employers that it can happen these days. Everything will seem ok to the visa officer in that case, and he/she won't need any further information about that.

How much time from Medicals done till visa issued? Please share everyone.
Cuz we cannot afford to pay for the delivery of our baby in Ontario since it's too expensive. And if we have the time for this 3 months period while I'm still pregnant and have the delivery covered that will be the best. So, if we can land no later than 15th April, we will have this 3 months period till the baby is born and the delivery will be covered. We are prepared to pay for all the tests, scans etc during pregnancy.
However, we are not certain whether we will get the visa till April. Still waiting for medicals. Application filed on 25th June.

It depends on how big application is and how many documents they have to check. Also, for some reason Vienna office is slower then other offices.

Question about the health insurance. I don't understand whether it is the first five months waiting period not covered by OHIP or three months?

It says that in order to be eligible to be covered by OHIP you must be residing in Ontario for 153 days out of 183 days. That means that you don't have health insurance for the first 5 months. And on other posts I saw that the first three months is the waiting period. So, I am confused now.

Bozance, how old is your baby? Dod you go to medicals before or after the baby was born? What are your plans for traveling?

Thanks, Verna. I got a reply from the Health topic, too. However, in order to keep my coverage I need to be in Ontario for 153 days in the first six months. So, it is 153 days in order to keep it. But, I get coverage after the first 90 days.

So, that's settled. Now, we have to wait for the medicals.
