This thread is for those applicants who have decided to land/settle in Toronto once the long awaited visas get stamped

This forum is for us to share ideas/opinions/information about various topics starting from short stay accommodation, housing, affordable localities, schools, job prospects,shopping, recreation etc. to make the transition smooth for us... 8)

Am sure all of us would be trying to gather as much information as possible b4 we leave our home country....it would be gr8 if we could share it with other aspirants too....

There is an area known as "Little India" located on Gerrard Street between Coxwell and Greenwood.

They have many authentic clothing, jewellery, restaurants and food stores.

Yes.. it has shops like Neelam Silk and restaurants like Udupi Palace and Taj Mahal where you can have authentic Indian food while listening to latest bollywood songs.. these people have the same preference to music as people who run south indian restaurants here in India with Himesh Reshmia topping the list...

waiting for MR... My second AOR is dated 16th Dec. 2010.. Ecas is showing status as Application Received since weeks..

so currently its all black box for me...
