I got visa in just 4 days....... My term will start from 1st septmeber ........so can we enter in canada 2 months before starting our term ?
My consultant told that sometimes Immigration Officer doesnt allow us to enter from airport if we do so early......

Anyone have a idea ? please tell

Please help. I need your suggestions on financial requirement for study permit.

I have been accepted to McGill University, Montreal for two year masters program
My tuition fee for whole program is 29000$ Canadian funds
My living expenses for one year are 11000$.


Please let me know that how much funds I need to have for getting visa.

My mothers saving account bank balance is 20,000$ Canadian funds from last 4 months
My father is having Gross Provident Fund as his saving equal to 13000$ Canadian funds
Plus I am having loan from Indian bank worth 18000$ Canadian funds

Is that much amount sufficient to have or Do I need to increase loan or bank balance ?

They said, in saving account u can deposit money from anyone by borrowing it for some time.
But those funds in saving account are genuine which my mother has got from her retirement.
I am confused and worried too.

Consultants say many things.
If ur funds in savings account are 4 months older than need not to worry.

Just want to assure whether the new updated forms containing DIL# for the institutions are available on CIC website or not. They were supposed to be available by June14, 2014 but nothing is up yet.Can anybody shed some light on this issue?

Forms are same..u just need to mention DLI number along with the name of the instituition in study permit form. List of DLI instituitions is available on CIC website.

I know the DLI number of my institution. But there is no section to mention DLI number on form IMM 1294.

Moreover, the CIC website clearly states:

"Starting June 16, 2014, applicants and study permit holders must indicate the Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number on the updated application forms. Previous versions of the study permit application will still be accepted, but only until July 15, 2014."
