Can you please explain a little about your visit to NDVO? I am also planning to go there for VISA.
Can we submit in the afternoon and receive it back in first hour next day?

I submitted at around 10 am and got it back at 3 PM same day. Go early in the morning to NDVO

i got reply in 3 hrs, they asked for updated settlement fund etc. I have already set it out and keeping my finger crossed. VFS is still Closed?
If it is then we may have to fly to delhi if we get positive reply this week.

Thats grt. When did u send mail! How many reply did they send. For me they have said" we have reviewed your application, please do not send any enquiry, we will contact you for further processing." After that no mail.

I went to NDVO and got my visa yesterday. It was nice experience. I had submitted my passport in the morning and received it back in the afternoon with my landing papers. Nice experience except it is hot in Delhi and terrifying 7.3 jolt while waiting to board the plane.

Is there any special process or u just go with passports and ppr letter to NDVO for stamping ? Will walkins be fine ? Thanks

Getting visa from NDVO is very simple.Take original PP,print out of PP request email and two copies of photos for each accompanying as per instructions given, that's it.
Take a flight from ktm to Delhi and take a auto from airport to Canadian High Commission.Possibly,go in the morning.

Congrats on your 3rd line.Be sure to get PPR as nobody can stop you to get it after 3rd line.
Well,I met a guyy in Delhi whose file was processed from Colombo.
Hope this will help you to estimate timeframe to get further milestone on your application.
