I did post this questions before, please bare them again. I am posting to get an exact timing, really in a tight time schedule

1. How long does it take to get marriage registration certificate Ward office in Kathmandu (Husband is native of Kathmandu and Wife is from Dang)

2. What kind of documents are needed to apply for the same.

Is it really possible to go for each case. Who have experienced it?

Verification is done, its true but we all know that it is conducted on random basis depending upon the reliability of the documents submitted. The Nepalese market is overwhelmed by the rumors regarding the current physical verification and all of them have different story to tell :P however, upon asking to each that whether they verified for your case, the answer is 'No it is just happened with an acquaintance of my fren'.

I received my second line update yesterday that they have started processing my application on Dec. 15th. One of my friends told me that if I receive the second line update then it will take a long time to get Medical Report. He said he has not received the medical though he received the second line update three weeks ago. Is this true? He was suggesting it is better to receive the MR directly than getting the second line update. Any thoughts?

is it really so?

My observation ! suggestion welcomed!

There has been 3 trends on receiving medial request from NDVO
1. MR Request, and second line update
2. Second Line Update and MR Request with a week (max 10 days)
3. Second Line Update and NO MR for months
...

Even there are some May 7 Application whose Second line updated but still waiting for MR

Hope we all will get MR soon.

There is verification confirmed. I know 2 people whose work place is visited. They enquire with different staff members and tally answers as well. Not sure whether it is random or for all.

Is the physical verification done in recent working place or past? My second line was updated on 5 dec and it was just one day after the phone inquiry in my office by ndvo .do they still check my office any idea?

Verification is confirm unless very much reputed institutions. I guess they could verify for all your point claimed work experiences. BTW, NDVO talked with whom at your office? Was the call surely from NDVO or third party agency?

Anyone?

As far as i know, it will take merely a day for it. Go to the ward office with citizenship of both and photographs. The ward office will only make recommendation of your marriage, being based on that you should prepare a 'Marriage registration certificate' from the Municipality office. I did same.
