Im trying to find out if you have paid your application fee with a cashier's or certified check, if so, from which bank? what other specifications I need to consider?

If you are outside Canada

You can find information on fee payment methods at the website of the visa office (immigration applications) or the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate (proof of citizenship applications) responsible for your area. Visa and consular offices cannot accept receipts for fees paid in Canada.

Note: Personal cheques are not accepted as payment.

I understand they dont accept personal checks, but I understand a certified check is indeed a personal check but "certified" by a banks officer?
