I want to apply under Federal Skilled Worker-1 Category. I have read all process for application on www.cic.gc.ca website.

Still, I have some queries as listed below points. I am not clear how many point it can claim for given detail below.
Here I am sending my detail for calculating points.

I am in Abu dhabi right now. I will be coming to kolkata for about couple of weeks in Feb 1st week most probably. I will shifting to Canada in 2012 for good.

HI everyone.....

a news for calcuttan......
Lufthansa is the only one flight from kolkata which takes off directly to toronto via frankfurt and there is only one baggage of 23 kgs + handbag of 10 kgs allowed now w.e.f. 15-nov-2010 and next every baggage of 23 kgs is charged $50...so, now u can carry only 1 bag free of cost....and customer care said charge is going to be on higher side i.e. $250 later on....so, if u guys are looking for lufthansa...this is for your kind information.

sorry to inform you that i will not be joining you guys today as i have sm urgent piece of work as i hv few days left to fly so, preparing for that. best of luck.

thanx for the information............. but i am planning to take Jet Airways...... lufthansa is i heard quite expensive around Rs 40000

@ Rainy... we can understand.... only few days left for the preparation , its ok if god wish we will meet in canada.........

i m planning to land in first week of april 2011

@ ashu..... i will come at 4 pm @ exide.......

consult cox n kings...lufthansa is cheaper than jet airways...im getting it in 63000 (2 adults+1 infant) that too in peak season....if u book now for april, i think it will be more cheaper.....the only drawback is the baggage. rest is upto u, other flights r via delhi or mumbai and fare comes almost the same.(if u add ur extra baggage charges.)
can update u more abt the experience once i land in canada.

For accounting jobs u will be good in Toronto initially i guess. When you do those courses as you said be very careful when choosing. Ask the employers what they expect. They are pretty expensive so just make sure its worth before paying for it.

The groceries and other miscellenous are pretty same all over. BUT Rent, insurance and tax are not same. Rents in toronto are very expensive as compared to Alberta.
