Yeah that's right. We've still not got PPR officially, which I'm hoping will be in the next week or so.
But definitely keep an eye out around 4 months in.
I've posted this in the Dec AOR group too, but wanted to share here in case it's useful for other outland applicants.
Quick update on my application in case it's useful to anyone else or there's any insights on it!
Just called IRCC and spoke with an absolute babe of a woman (Always a worry you'll have waited and they'll be arsey and not give you any info!). I queried my Visa office as I had a response to a CSE that noted it was with CPC Edmonton, Alberta. This was previously at CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia.
She confirmed my file has moved from Sydney to Edmonton, as the Edmonton office is assisting with processing in order to minimise any delays to processing times. She also noted as I'm an outland applicant this won't be the final office, and will move to Ottawa or my LVO once it's finalised. She referenced my notes on a number of occasions and noted there is nothing missing, plenty of activity and movement and nothing to worry about. She also confirmed Criminality, Security and Eligibility were in process and that they were waiting on some results for those items.

We received our PPR this morning, with a invitation to attend either Halifax or Fredericton visa office to complete our landing. We are going Friday as I’m currently away working. I wish you all the best of luck in this journey.

Oh yeah it’s a great feeling, my WP expires next month so thankfully no extensions needed. Oh yeah I’ve had to stop at a service area as when the wife called to tell me I just couldn’t drive!

Hi all im glad to share that i also received my PR today submitted on the 25th of July 2018 and my file was being processed at the Ottawa visa office and i wish the same for anyone that is still waiting
