Has it ever helped anyone spontaneously uploading information? I am afraid sending information which were not requested could either help or delay processing time. I did not submit my current employer letter so I am hesitating to upload it along with a CV. Any advise?
If you have any doubts about documentation, upload what you can. Delays aside, you want to ensure the case officer has all the information he may need.. There have been cases that are reconsidered, and missing/incomplete reference letters are possibly the top causes for rejection..

Update from Ralph...

Criminality is in process – biometrics received and under review.
Eligibility and security checks are passed.
Medicals are valid until Feb 2020.

Feeling more positive now

Hi everyone, i am new on this thread. i just received this from CPC OTTAWA.

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.

Regards,

is this bad?

How about do I actually upload any new document? The web form seems to only allow text and the link "view submitted application" in my account has no document upload options...

The webform has an option to upload a document on the next page.. Make sure everything you need is in one PDF (viewable using Adobe Reader) under 2MB

Got it! Thanks.

Another question- Would having a Job offer from a U.S. employer while residing in Canada have any impact at this stage? The Catch-22 being that my current employer is waiting for my immigration status to enable an internal transfer from EU to USA.

Small update from me - no updates. :<
I sent them a full reference last Friday, didn't get any confirmation (bc the system doesn't work) / reply. It says they reply within 2-5 working days, so hopefully I at least get a confirmation that they got it today. Ideally saying that with the ref there my eligibility is passed and they started security. (like that's gonna happen)
If not, panic mode comes back on and I guess I'll call them if they actually got it, or if the form didn't work.

Looks like I need to order notes as I learned this morning my eligibility is marked as Review required from Ralph’s office :(

I got my first Ghost Update on July 12th and I called IRCC on July 26th where she said it was in review from a final officer but that nothing was marked review required.

Has the senior office marked it for review? I don’t get it?!

Ugh, that sucks buddy. Now would definitely be a good time to order GCMS and see what's got them confused. They may issue an ADR before your GCMS arrives though so keep an eye out.

It's not bad, it means something has been marked for review required and it will take longer to process. Usually this is when people order GCMS notes to see what has caused concern so that they can provide clarification evidence to ensure smooth processing

Give them the 5 working days and call them if you're concerned. I know when I got an ADR after they received it, the status of the application had a part saying new documenta were being reviewed but I don't know if it'll do that if they weren't requested.

That said, if you call they can usually see they have been received

My notes say eligibility not started, Ralph said eligibility not started. 2 days later i got the email in response to a reminder sent by an agent.

Hi all. I'm fairly new to the forum and this thread. We've just submitted our application in late July (partner is primary applicant, from the UK). We're in the CEC inland stream. Anecdotally, does there seem to be a big difference between streams and application processing time? Is FSW taking longer than CEC? Or maybe outland vs. inland? We were really hoping to have the process completed within the six months, as I'm sure everyone else here was.

So I was literally in the middle of calling CIC in google hangouts and writing an e-mail to CPC Ottawa when I received a response from the web form that they got my file and forwarded it to the responsible office.
Took a bit longer, than I hoped for, but yay. :D
I REALLY hope i'll get the ppr in the next 1-3 weeks (giving a month for COPR processing etc.), or I guess I'll have to airbnb for a while. Cutting it close... :)

Eligibility honestly seems to take the least time. In every case, I've seen it go from not started to passed in a few days, max. It probably takes the same amount of time to enter review required unfortunately =[

Keep in mind your notes are now 30 days old. Now that you know your case is in review required status, now is yhe time to order notes and find out how you can move things along

Typically, assuming you've provided the proper paperwork, what I have seen in this forum is inland and outland times are different (not necessarily faster in either direction) but CEC seems to *generally* be processed a bit quicker if your case is cut and dry and all thr appropriate documentation has been provided.

Take it with a pinch of salt though. Its a bit ALWAYS going to depend on your individual applications
