Hi All,

I decided to start this thread so that those residing in China or stayed in China before could connect and share some experience on getting docs ready post ITA.

As I am sitting at 440, I think it is time for me to start getting documents like PCC and translations of all kind of certificates as it might take time.
I will be HAPPY if you could share your experience dealing with banks, PSB or notaries when preparing.
On my end I will keep you posted on my progress.

I was sitting on 442 and currently waiting for the ITA. I should be able to provide some of my post-ITA experiences for the coming few months. I can keep you all posted if interested.

yeah! finally :)

I'm a Chinese international student holding PGWP, applying through CEC- inland.
Here is my timeline:
EE Profile: 11-02-2016
Profile Submit: 11-10-2016
Score: 498 (All because of IELTS 8.5 guys this really bumped up my score and I think it's easier than CELPIP for Chinese)
ITA: 12-16-2016
e-AOR: 12-23-2016
Medical-Passed, BG-IP: 02-07-2017
Additional Doc REQ: 21-02-2017

don't forget they don't do pcc at local police station anymore... well, at least in Jiangsu. I went to my notary certificate provider to fill out a form, then bring it to the local PS for a stamp or something.

439, 11 months working experience, hopefully the score keeps dropping:)

Hi everyone,

All the best on your applications. I applied form China and as you may know the Hong Kong Visa office processes all applications from mainland China so I'd suggest you join our Hong Kong Visa Office thread and WhatsApp group. Again, All the best!

Hey all, I moved back to China from the US between my ITA (Jan 25) and AOR (Feb 15). Really excited for this transitional time in life!

Not much happening yet. Will keep updating. Best of luck to those still waiting for ITA!

It really depends on where you are. In my city there's a specific office under the City Police Department that issues PCC for foreign purposes. I went and got it then sent it in for the notary public to translate and notarize. I'd say call your notary public's office and they will tell you what they need.

Jiangsu! I am exactly in Jiangsu! thanks for the heads up
I tried last time and was also said that i need to get a notary certificate first. But that time I was just checking the procedure.
But this time I found on the CIC site the following
"If you apply at The Public Security Bureau (PSB): the PSB will issue the Certificate of No Criminal Convictions to applicants with Z (Work), X (Student) and J1 (Journalist) visa classes. If you have a different visa class, you need to ask your local PSB office how to apply."

I am having that working visa, so I will try this time going to the PSB and check with them first
