hello everyone!my husband is a self employed electrician and planning to apply this july under fsw.doc checklist says for self employed individuals they must provide third party documentation of services rendered including payments details.is this in a form of work contract or just certification?also he has only a certificate of business name registration from the department of trade and industry and a business permit from the barangay and municipality were we resides and nothing of the BIR things like filing of income tax and official receipt.does he has to comply with BIR requirements?

i hope i can hear insights and ideas from you regarding this matter.thank you very much in advance.....

Hi Everyone,

Hope to get some insights from people out there. My family and I are planning to apply for our PR to Canada by July/August this year via FSW. I'm planning to do my PhD at one of the Universities in BC, CA and also would like to apply for our PR at the same time so that it would be easier for us to buy a house, car etc. Since my background is in the field of education, I was told that the demand for that particular skill is limited. My question is, can I send in my application to the visa office as an applicant for PR and also as a student at the same time? Or I should come in as a student and apply for PR 2 years later? However the second option is not our preferred option as it would limit us in many ways in securing jobs, acquiring property etc. Please advise...thanks!
