PSDEC=PAPER SCREENING DECISION

PSDEC=1 (means passed)

Which basically means application has been assessed and recommended for further processing. In my case to SELDEC (SELECTION DECISION). So they will decide whether a interview is required or not and then medical. Hoping for SELDEC=4 which means interview waived.

My Application was received by CIO only on 16th August 2011, under NOC 1122. As per my consultant, it should have met the 500 cap. But as you may know, many of the forum members believe that 500 CAP was reached on 8th July 2011. (On another thread) My CC not yet charged.

Now the latest rumor among the forum members is, there is a un-announced regional cap for each VO. We seem to be lucky, if that's true, since we do not see many members attached to Colombo VO applied under 1122.

But, why does it take so much time for CIO to update us on our applications? It's being nearly a month now. Can any senior member applied under NOC 1122 in 2010 update us with their experience? How long did it take for you to receive PER?

Hey Mike!!!
As you can see I don't belong to NOC 1122, but as per my experience with Colombo VO they are little bit slow sometimes.
Can you tell if you receive any email from Sydney NS where they asked you submit you doc within 120 days? If so, then you are in, and you file soon will be transferred to Colombo.
You can check with your Bank about your CC, coz I read some stories in this forum that some banks refuses payment.

Hope you all find it useful. From 31 Mar 2011 are forecasted data based on the historical averages. Looking at this data I am expecting my application to be finalized in the second quarter 2012. Your views most welcome.

As you know cic web site has a section which they specify all the statistics for the quarter. I put them down them down in a excel sheet.
It how ever does not have the breakdown between old cases and new cases. Old case load portion however can be calculated using pending by subtracting the current case load from last quarters caseload. In order to find where my rank we need to find roughly how many applications they received every month. Under MI1 they received 425000 over span of 28 months that mean roughly 15500 per month. Since I am in process since 1 April. There are cases belongs three months behind my application 15500*5= 46500. If this progressed at this rate by the end of June there will be 54000 cases pending. This also includes MI2 as well as MI3 cases which process much faster. Therefore I am assuming application will be processed in the second quarter of 2012.

Click on profile and then you can update you personal info.

Hi Im new to this forum. I sent my documents to CIO In December 2010 but got returned due to cap reach.
I got mey returned docs In end of May 2011. Again I have ask my consultant to send documents in June 2011 but, unfortunatelly
he has sent on 19/Aug.Mike Stephens-I you could please advice who is your agent.
