Well Said Mahatma Buddh...LOL

Can you please put some light on your educational and professional experience..!!!

Lots of people change their career in Canada because of lack of awareness and risk taking capability.
If you want to focus on your career in your own profession then you have to workout on "where you have to land"

again, luck play a vital role in your settlement.

thanx babbu bhae :)..my NOC code is 3142..physiotherapist with 10 years of experience...someone told me that edmonton os good for jobs..so i choose edmonton :)..else i dont know :)

To be honest....I spoke with Canadian friends and all of them suggested me to move to Alberta...mainly for these reasons.. low taxes on goods, booming oil & gas industry which in turn prospers all support industries too and most importantly less competition when you apply for jobs ( ratio of applications for any advertised jobs is very very low compared to other cities - for every applicant in Alberta you have approx 15-20 applications in Toronto/Vancouver) and here I am not saying that you may be mediocre but employers first prefer Canadian exp & education...

I am from hospitality industry and getting a survival job was easiest for me but i waited for management role in major hotel group and it took me 2.5 months for that.... My suggestion is research everything before making a move!! if you have friends or family in your choice of city it helps and you can make ur fortune in any city :)

Agreed with Abhijeet, you can get survival job easily in Calgary or Edmonton. But being a physiotherapist you have to upgrade your education as per Canadian standard, you need a registration (as other profession) with Canadian Physiotherapy Association (http://www.physiotherapy.ca/Home?lang=en-ca) then u will be a license Physiotherapist in Canada... without registration you will hardly get chance to work as Physiotherapist (health and safety law etc), take my words for that...

Edmonton is good for trade people, chance to get labourer or blue collar jobs...but compare to Toronto there are less colleges and course...and study is bit expensive here in Alberta..

Hi... I'm under FSW2. From Buffalo to Ottawa.
I have a question ... I do have a job offer so I'm AEO.... anyones knows if they still request proof of funds in the bank? Even thought I'm AEO?

The beginning of my process was August 2011 and a few days ago they request to update my info... What can I expect after this and how long can it take next step? What other documents they could ask me??

Please I would appreciate any info

Thank you :-)

Hello Picespao...i was on AEO too...they dont ask for proof of funds....its unfortunate in your case for the delay due to strike...but it seems they are back on track slowly for processing...Good luck

i got employment verification call yesterday . they called on number taken from website . they called on our company unit 2 which is different. person in charge over their answered bluntly about me. he told i am doing job and number of years correct , but other information he bluntly said any answer. after that i got call and i answered. i came to know that answer were varying as person who answered not knowing about me much. i am working in unit 1 which is different .

they didnt called in my company unit and in my call i mentioned that i am working in other unit as verification incharge was asking about other company.

so what are the chances , will they will give refusal or interview. It was conformed that i ma working and number of years. but there was mismmatch in answers as they called in some other unit.

kindly help me out.

Let me get straight to the point.

In a month's time or earlier than that, you would receive a letter which is called as PF letter(procedural fairness letter) on email. The IO will lay out his concerns regarding mismatch and provide you a timeframe of 30 days to reply.

Start preparing and make a list of mismatched answers by your employer and you. Atleast try to get one document proof for each mismatch. I hope to god that you don't receive this letter but be ready and prepare yourself coz that email is a bit frightening and would contain the below wordings:
"Section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act. Section 40(2)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act specifies that the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of two years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1)."

I hope I can help you to the best of my ability. Be strong and god bless :)
