Hello forum members!

Special thanks to regular active members who remained active and supportive during this tense time of processing.
NOT TO FORGET BABBU<SYRUST<JAGGY<Princeroi (Forgive if i forget other names as i m in quite emotional mood rite nw)

Here i share my landing experience today.

I am in Canada since Sep2009, so I choose nearest port to my city which is Niagara Rainbow Bridge.

I took early bus from yonge and finch "safeway tours" and reached niagara at 10:30am
> walked across the falls and reached the pedestrian crossing for US gate.
> put 50cents and cross the gate, walk 5 steps and took a U-turn back to entry door.
> Went to window and asked officer I am here for landing today, he took my passport and issued a yello slip and showed other door (2mins max)
> walked across the street and reach the building where landing is done
> waited for 5 mintues (though whole place was deserted by officer was kind of logging in to system may be he just joined his shift)
> he took my and my wife passport asked us to sign COPR and be seated for few minutes
> call us again in 5 mintues asked if we have proof of funds, we showed our banks statement
> after 5 minutes he called us again, handed our passport and COPR copy, congratulated and advised that we will receive our PR card in 6-8weeks and need to visit service ontario to get SIN card updated.

Total procedure 15-25 minutes...

I am now sitting in my apartment with tandoori and Beer, cant explain in words how my world is changed during last three years and how I spend these stressful months of my life.

Cheers to all and simple advise always stay happy what has to happen will happen within due course.

Thanks Jittu for sharing your experiences.

I have couple of questions,

1. Do we need to show proof of funds. If yes, how much we need to show and how many months statement is required.
2. Also do we need to show job offer letter, etc.
