Dear Forum members!

I just want to share the good news with you all, my father just confirmed they have received passports and COPR today.


I heartily thanks to all for your support and honest appreciation to NDVO for processing my application so fast, it has been less than six months and my passports are at home.



My friend will bring passports back to canada in end of Nov and I will update you all about my landing procedures.

Dear All Forum member,

I have some questions regarding my application, the time line showed in left side including my NOC code.My questions are,
(1) My IELTS score is R-5.5,W-5.5,L-5.5,S-5.5 overall band 5.5.Moderate english language proficiency in all four sections. Does it affect my application according to My NOC code 1231? I had not received any letter from NDVO yet. My second line appears on 06 Aug 2012 and yet not get the MR from NDVO.
(3) If the VO not satisfied with my english language (fist official language)proficiency is not suitable with my job duties.Can they give me some time to prove my english language capability.Now a days i am in a critical situation that i can not able to appear in IELTS exam because my father is in a last stage of his life.
(2) I had not sent PCC along with my application, but now it is done and will sent it on 18th Nov 2012.Is it the reason why they are not sending me MR?

I , Jaggy and some other members are waiting for MR after our second line since August 2012. What are the reason why they had put our file on hold.
Please guide me what to do.

Biography of Jason Kenney
Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism



Jason Kenney was born in Ontario and raised in Saskatchewan, where he graduated from Notre Dame College. He did undergraduate studies in philosophy at the University of San Francisco.

Mr Kenney served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, prior to his election to the House of Commons in 1997 as Member of Parliament for Calgary Southeast. He has been re-elected five times, most recently with 76% of the vote.

He is a former Chairman of the House of Commons Subcommittee on International Human Rights, and served in several positions in Opposition, including as Finance Critic and Deputy House Leader.

Mr Kenney was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister in 2006, and Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity) in 2007.

He was appointed Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism in 2008. He was reappointed to the portfolio in 2011 and given the added responsibilities of Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Operations, and Regional Minister for Southern Alberta. Minister Kenney sits on three other cabinet committees: Planning and Priorities, National Security, and Social Affairs.

Mr Kenney has been voted “best overall” and “hardest working” MP by his colleagues in Maclean’s Magazine’s annual survey of parliamentarians.
