I have a question. I found that you guys who apply in New Delhi all got your visa within 6 months. Is it quick there? I checked the CIC website, and it states the processing time to be more than two years?

my consultant called me and said stamped passports along with landing papers have been received by him...

I dont see any problem in that. You are worried that after the DM, eCas is still showing your old address? Thats NOT an issue at all dear.. i got my VISA and eCas is still showing my old address with DM, never changed to canadian one.
You should be waiting for your PPR.

Don't worry.....one of my friends(same NOC as mine) had recd 2nd line on ecas on 7 July and still not recd MR. Maybe they will now issues some visas and then start providing MRs.......so just pray and hope for the best.

There is no need for bridging courses in Mechanical Eng or Software Eng. they are equally valid in North America. Germany mei fark hai yaha sab chalta hai. Especially Bramptom mei jo factories hia desiyo ki hai, kisi badi company mei jaogey toh ek aad koi chota license lena pade otherwise sab chalta hai

I do remember the info u had provided at that time, but landing to Alberta will not be possible for me
initially as I have family in Toronto and they were saying that they gonna look after us after landing (though I know how ppl behave
when you go to them,but I don't want to give them a chance to say that Babbu had ignored our offer). Once things
will be taking shapes for me, and in summer 2013 I will act upon on your kind advice by applying for the same

Babbu bai I sent you pm before about this that when you have bachelor degree in engineering from other country then you don't get hired as Engineer here. First you will need to pass the exam and then you will get EIT status (Engineer in Trainee) Status and depends on province you will have to gain Canadian Experience (Two to Four years), then you will be able to register as P.Eng status and can get hired as Engineer.

For you I would suggest to get into Drafting first which is the fastest way to get job in mechanical Engineering field, also in Alberta Drafting positions Salary (if you know your stuff) Starts with around $50K Annually and its in Demand as well.

With the grace of Shree Waheguru Ji, I have got My visa from NewDelhi on Monday 03/09/12.
I have got my all original docs with CORP which is printed on a paper longer than A4 size.To be honest,I was numb to see the postman as my ecas with Canadian Address wasn't updated b4 the postman came and it was updated on 04/09/12. Which is a day after my PP received. Now I can't believe on my eye and this good news. I make excuse to look at my PP and CORP 4-5 times a day.lol

Sorry for updating the news bit late coz there were some family issues going on, best of luck to all members, especially to surust,jitu, spartan,goti,jaggy,rawlin and finally my big bro babbu mann (creator of thread and nice person to have with me). You all have make this journey of wait short for me. During the waiting time, I must have hurt some hearts and I wish all of them a very quick process from heart and feeling sorry if someone is annoyed with me. We will remains in touch for as long as possible.
