after a long tym i am back to this forum...
can u tell me..is the MI3 still on priority? as they have temporarily stopped fsw app to clear backlog...so i think it would be FIFO (first in first out) and no MI1,MI2 OR MI3..as MI1 are getting MR s at rocket speed...and that may be the reason for our delay of MR...i may b wrong..seniors plz comment....

Hi Guys.........This is just what I feel after seeing cases on this forum itself.

I think most of the VOs including NDVO are either looking at MI1 applications(issuing MRs) or are in the process of finalizing MI3 applications(who have already done their MR and submitted PP).

I guess we MI3 applicants need to wait a bit longer for now maybe 2-3 months.......I hope VOs prove me wrong(infact I would be happy if I'm wrong).

Just to clear ur doubt babbubhai....when u fill the appln form "Generic Application form for Canada(IMM0008ENU.pdf)", there is a question no.6:"Where do you intend to live in Canada" a)Province/Territory &
b)City/Town.
Lets say you mention a) ON & b)Scarborough.

When applicants say that their Canadian address is not updated after DM it simply means that ON,Scarborough not updated opposite Indian mailing address in ecas.

IO have much important duties to perform than updating our Canadian landing address, so they sometimes don't update it at all.

Bhai when we haven't provided them with any Canadian address in our application, how would they update it anyways!!!

MI1 and 2 both are being processed.......coz from what it seems they don't want processing times of MI1 and 2 to go out of hand.

You have to be patient.....its just a matter of time before DM......All the wishes

IMHO.......it would be 2-3 months and not more

The problem after seeing many applications being processed in under 5 months, we all are thinking thats the same timeframe for our application. Don't forget the processing timeframes for MI3 is anywhere between 6-10 months........So we can't complain

sorry i mean 2-3 months to get MR and not whole processing...i feel our next summer would be in canada hopefully...

Sure dude... Take your time.. not just couple of days; do it for couple of months or might be couple of years... At in starting everything looks great.. New things are always better...

But you always know the quality in long run...

Cost Recovery Fees

The Department of Citizenship and Immigration charges fees to partially recover the cost of providing certain services to the public .

Processing fees are not refunded for refused or withdrawn applications. Since the processing fee helps defray the cost of processing your application it cannot be refunded even if your application is unsuccessful.

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Please note that VFS service charge fees are not included in the cost of processing temporary visa applications.

If the incorrect amount or an invalid payment method is used, your application will be returned to you without processing.
