My one friend had got offer letter from consultant regarding job in canada's Royal york Hotel.Consultant taken post dated cheque of 2 lacs and rest 6 lacs will be paid in installment as per my friend.Consultant give assured he will get his visa in 30 days but he has not call for medical only local body check up has been done.Is it possible to get the visa in this way? Arranged employer is consider out of way? without medical possible to get visa for work permit for 02 years .i am not assured weather the consultant is genuine or not.please share your thoughts If he want to cross check the genuineness how can he check? I have check the site address provided on offer letter its world wide renowned hotel group.

Dear Goti

Ask for the letter of HRDC approval for that particular job profile & then approval for your friend on his name only; he suppose to get the offer from employer & human Resources will issue a letter on his name later (you should get that in 45 days) which they submit in CHC & then you get the visa.

But again VO is the final authority if he will be satisfied that ur friend will come back then only he will give the visa.

Rest most of the consultants are fraud in Job offers that is the reason more than 22 consultants including WWICS got seized by External Ministry & Affairs 3 months before here in Chandigarh.

Please get the docs & then I will let you know that how can you verify those docs.

Please share if have any idea about BC and other checks VO conduct. How they do it. Do they call the signatory of experience letter or call company u worked for. Any experienc?

some good news and some not-so-good news...

First the good news....My lawyer called me today and said that they have received communication from NDVO today issuing me MR/PCC/RPRF/PPR...

Now, the not-so-good-news....The letter from NDVO was dated 25th April 2012 (Yes , its APRIL, i verified the scanned copy from my lawyer a zillion times) and they sent the entire package by postal mail since I am in Canada. Not sure why it took soooooooo long for it to even get here..... The deadline to submit all the requested documents is 9th June 2012 (coming saturday)....My lawyer is going to contact NDVO requesting an extension to submit the documents since I will never be able to submit all the documents including medical results within 2 days...

Plan is to submit PCC as soon as possible, get DMP appointment asap so that I can get the medicals done and DMP can send it to NDVO as soon as possible and then hopefully by that time NDVO responds letting me know how much of an extension they can give me so that I can then plan to fly to India to submit passports...

Phew...My ecas had changed from A to B on 29th April i think...and they had already issued MR on 25th but somehow either the letter was shuffled between departments in NDVO or then postal mail from India took reallllly long. Wonder why they send MR by postal mail if its overseas....I guess all the folks who have got MR from NDVO have got it through email...

@ Sairam, congrats on ur MR/RPRP/PPR....read that you are in Toronto as well, did you receive everything by postal mail too????

Friends, I hope you all get the PER/AOR/MR/DM that you all are waiting for soon as well....

Hopefully NDVO grants me an extension to be able to submit everything...

Even m confused to provide u advice on this.......really careless approach that NDVO takes.

Dear u must be having some proof that u recd the postal mail today......get a copy of it and ask ur lawyer to send it along as proof.......it will make ur case stronger.

Follow with ur lawyer everyday until u hear sum news from NDVO.

Praying to GOD that this issue is soon resolved nd NDVO grants u an extension which u deserve

Yes Seminole I received everything through postal mail on 5/06/2012....the letter was dated for 18th May,2012...my lawyer says she also received an e-mail regarding the same on 6/6/2012.

Thanks for confirming. wonder why my package was stuck in the mail for so long. What was the content of the email that your lawyer received? Was it by NDVO to just confirm that you received the postal package?
