Don't worry ......file nos do change sumtimes when they arrive at local VO.......U were right in mentioning old file no. on covering letter when u sent whole package.

LVO does not sent AOR ......so need not worry......let the letter arrive and share it wid us so we can help u better

dear naveed, in our experience at Manila V.O., when a second line like that appears in ECAS, it means a visa officer is sending you a letter and asking for some documents to clear up some doubts he has with one's application, whether in the line of work, or proof of funds, common law relationships and others.

im not sure if it is the same with NDVO though

I reffered to that link.........its usual to get such a watermark

Now I get it .....its not the only doc that u need to carry, you also need to have a PP along.....hence it says not valid for travel.

Once again all the wishes in the world......enjoy this gr88888888 moment and tell us till wat date ur visa valid to land and wen u planning to land also.

"Guys I'm just telling you the logic behind updation of old and new Ecas.

Old Ecas Updation
•The logic behind change from Indian to Canadian address for an NDVO applicant earlier was that the applicant first belonged to India, but now since he/she will be a Canadian resident, Canadian address is updated in ecas......which means visa granted. Updation of canadian address as mentioned on ur appln is still followed now by local VO.
•It would include Indian mailing address
•It would directly not show the status "In Process" as with MI3 applicants........Instead there were various other status like CIO Review complete, RBVO and so on
•When VO starts working on the file, a status would read as "We reviewed and started processing on XX"
•For every small detail, it was manually updated

New Ecas Updation
•Currently for MI3 applicants, after the switchover from CAIPS to GCMS, most of the ecas updates made are automatic
•They have stopped wasting their time and energies for ecas updation and instead provided a clear picture of where ur file currently is thru new ecas update
•Since most of the work is now done by CIC, the ecas status directly shows as "In Process", it can mean from when it ws recd by CIC ...processing has already started......though its just what I think
•VO are just left to see the logical disposition of a file based on local knowledge they have
•But in my view, they are still not trained on standardized ecas updation, which sumtimes can cause Confusion.

BOTTOMLINE:Ecas is updated so that client knows which level or processing exactly his/her file is at.
Other than DM made without medicals, there is no reason to worry while checking ecas.

I hope this clears some of ur doubts regarding ecas!!!!!"

Today i completed my remedical.
now everything in Gods hand.
hope for the best , now its take 60 days to give result of Sputum smear and culture.
now again starts waiting period of 60 days.
