As I read, no immediate changes as yet. However, it is certain that there WILL be changes in the near future awarding more points for age and language.
I can speculate that Canadian Immigration system will soon evolve to be similar to Australian system which awards more points to younger applicants. I also predict that there will be changes in the system where there will be more points for better language ability.
There is already a system in place that prioritizes certain applicants with 'in high demand' skills, Minister Kenney has mentioned this.
Lets hope for the best and pray that existing applicants wont be affected with these changes, although Minister Kenney HAS hinted that it might be the case !
