The exact line which was in the instuctions for medical is given below:-

From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer
since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate yourself and
Spouse/Common-law partner. FROM INDIA This must be received at this office by:
xx/xx/2012

Now please advice that should I send the second copy (origional) of my PCC recieved on 10th march, 2012. The above line does not clarify that they require a fresh PCC. I have already sent at the time of application origional PCC.

I don't remember ur case......has NDVO asked for a new PCC, when u have already provided one alongwith application?

If the answer to above question is a YES......Then you don't need to get a new PCC.

Write a covering letter to NDVO and tell them u have already provided a PCC with ur appln. Also tell them that since PCC was issued on 10.03.2012, now it won't be reissued till 10.09.2012 since it is still valid(as said by RPO).

Don't forget to provide the same PCC which was issued to you on 10th march, 2012 (As two copies were provided when previous PCC was issued on 10/Mar/2012), Fee reciept dated 17/07/2012 and online status stating that they have recd ur application for PCC and it shall be collected when u recieve email/sms for the same.

It does mean that they require a fresh PCC........but I think there is a miscommunication which needs to be sorted.

The only way to do it is by writing a cover letter explaining ur situation to NDVO.

Dear Syrust, just send them a formal e-mail to confirm the progress of your file. Put PER number as a file number there..!!
they will revert back by confirming the received date of file and some suggestion to wait..

this is the best u can do.Some ppl got MR without AOR. So may b the one who will get MR next week..lol

U have 2 options..!!

1. I hope RPO may have given u a letter confirming the circumstance on not issuing the PCC. Batter write a covering letter to CHC to confirm the same with all proof (fee receipt, appointment receipt, any doc to confirm the term and condition for PCC can be issue once in a 6 month and old PCC). That should work..but there is a possibility that they may put u on hold until u would be eligible to get a new pcc...so follow option 2

2. If I would be U...I will get a PCC from SP office and send it to CHC. It will minimize the paper work and processing will be done on normal pace.

Pls help me out on this:-

Today I went to the RPO office at chandigarh in Ind Area-II for getting PCC as it has been requested in the medical instructions recd from NDVO. But the problem is that the RPO people are not issuing me the same on the plea that previous PCC was issued on 10/Mar/2012 and it is still valid as the PCC is valid for six months and they cant issue it for same country before six months expiry. They actually recieved my application and I deposited the fee and completed all the formalities at stages A,B & C. But after that they refused me the same stating that u can get it only after 10/Sep/2012.

One thing I have forgot to tell u is " Visa Officer got Barack's photos and Copy of passport...Visa Officer may be going to buy a Credit Card or a duplicate Sim Card to misuse his identity" I'm worried and sacred too :'( :'( :'(
