hey guys just had a doubt.....is it ok I have sent a photocopy of my FD (it forms 80% of my POF) and the rest I have shown as bank account money......does NDVO accept photocopies of FD.....I read suwher that statements of FD will do......but the bank has no idea wat a statement of FD is?

Hi Jaggy,

I have also 80% of proof of funds in FD only so i asked the bank manager to add my savings money and fixed deposit money and give the following bank statement...

"Mr. xxxx is having an account with our bank in xxxxx area branch. He is having 25,00,000 rupees as of 23/03/2012 (equivalent to 50,000 CAD) in our bank. As per the request of Mr. xxxx, we are issuing this statement for the purpose of Canada immigration.

Hope this will help you in the future when NDVO ask you to submit original proof of fund statement....

My application reached to nova scotia on 19/10/11 under 7216, got PER on 20/10/2011,,got second AOR from NDVO on 15/11/2011 but than after nothing is heard my ecas status shows in process and we rcvs yr app on XXXX..Kindly update my details and any comment from experience guys?

welcome on board, its strange to know that cic didn't contact you after 15 Nov 2011...(this is a manhoos date, I have a list of ppl had bad experience on that date) but nevermind, I wish you best of luck for your process,

when we go through the CIC website timeline for processing....the time mentioned has not been updated! those timelines are for old submissions post 2010.....current processing times have been much better than that...Why is CIC not changing them?
