Yeah you are probably right, that was a wild guess and I only had one example to back it up. The truth is I am being impatient and trying to find a pattern to estimate when it is going to be my turn ;)

I would suggest you to focus on your work and don't pay attention to your application a lot although it is difficult. T I used to do the same thing as you but once I ignored it I got it(MR). Wish it happens very soon for you and all others waiting for CC charge, PER, MR, and PPR.

Yes you are right Viva, I must concentrate on my research instead of thinking about my application, I am not sure I can do it but I will try :) . Thanks

I am sorry to let you know that CPC Ottawa processing patterns are the most unpredictable ever. I have been investigating their behavior, specially what order they follow to process files received from CIO and the results of my studies have been very frustrating. I already thought it was alphabetically but I was very wrong. Who knows my friend. Once your file reaches CPC Ottawa, you have no choice than praying, crossing your fingers, and following this forum until you do your landing, lol.

Dear all,

Apparently CPC Ottawa hired a lot of new students as case officers, which was reported before. There was a few cases from a chinese immigration forum that the case officers made wrong decisions and requirement. Luckly, the immigration consultant fought back immediately and forwarded the messages to their managers, then the case officers gave in.

So, my point is, if you received any rediculous email or requirement from CPC Ottawa, please calm down and be careful about next step coz the case officer could be an idiot and don't let them ruin our lives.

For those who understand chinese, you can check the following web link for details. Even you can't read chinese, most of the cases were descriped in English.

Is she also a PhD stream applicant?

yes she is. She finished her 2 years of PhD in September and it took her more than a month to get all the documents and she sent her application in first week of October.

Hello everyone,

Is there anybody here, who has recently landed as PR and received PR card?

According to the CIC website it should take 25 calendar days, means less than a month. I would be really thankful if you could share your own experience.

Thanks,

In my GCMS notes, it is written that

It does not make sense to me as I am NOT from visa exempted country....

Your inputs are greatly appreciated.... Thanks ....

Okay thank you,... Just making sure... I was worried that later they will not issue me visa...

BTW it says "NO" for me, my wife and my kid.... should I email CPC in this case?

Thanks again.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my GCMS notes that I ordered 1 week after my PER. Even though my work experience letter was for 2 consecutive years of RA/TA, it shows that CIO office awarded me just 9 points for the work experience (1 year). Do you think it's a good idea to resend a new updated work experience letter to ottawa?

Also in the notes section it says that PA has at least one year of experience and the letter is reviewed but not verified? What do they mean by verifying work experience letter? Do they contact our universities?

I think that assessment were made by CIO office which will be re-assessed and hopefully will be fixed by then. But I dont think it will not hurt to inform this to VO. But I should also say if you already over ur threshold then try not to contact with cic very often.
