I sent my passport on September 26th and haven't heard back yet. The tracking number of the second envelope is not active yet. Let us know if you received any news about your passport. I need my passport back in 10 days... Did you contact CIC yet?

I have a question for other people who have recently received their passports back. How long did it take for you to receive back your passports?

I have sent my passport for PR visa on Sept 29 and still I did not get my passport back.
I have checked the tracker and there are some applicants who sent their passport two months a go and haven't received it yet, is that normal?
or it may be a mistake in filling the tracker sheet. Any help or clarifications!

Guys!

My ecas was still in process at the time of PP request. I sent my PP on October 10 and it is still not recieved by CPC due to Thanksgiving holiday.

My eCas has now changed to decision made with "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision".

Do I still hear from the officer regarding the decision before I got my PP back? or the PP request email was the one they refer to "The office will contact you concerning this decision"?

Can you share your experience SENIORS?

My situation is the same as yours as I have sent my passport when I received the PPR email, however my ecas says the same as yours "Decision has been made....the officer will contact..."

I think this is the main point, our application is approved and the PR visa will be stamped soon.

So it means PhD stream will shut down in January 2015 or May?
We are worried 'cause we have just begun prepared our files. WES will take at least one month. With Christmas drawing near, I'm afraid we cannot file it before January

I have only RA/TA experience (4 years as TA and RA).
My post graduate degree from back home is equivalent to Bachelors degree in Canada (according to ECA).
Will i be able to get enough points at VO-Ottawa evaluation?

Any estimation on when to expect the medical request?

Do your best to send it before Dec 31st. If your credentials are assessed within a month from now you still have time. Do not wait until January because I am pretty sure PhD stream will no longer exist in 2015. Have you collected your IELTS results yet?

Ask for GCMS notes and you will see the number of points Sidney gave you. If in doubt, check previous posts from Bluelotus and myself about how to order GCMS notes.

All depends on your IELTS score, adaptability, ECA, and so forth.
