Hi All,

I am preparing an application under the PhD stream, I would gladly appreciate if you could answer the following inquires please:

1- Can the PhD letter of attestation be signed by the Graduate Assistant Administrator in your own Department? She is a delegate of the Dean of Grad STudies but I am not too sure if they will accept her signature.

2- Did you send the police certificates together with your application? Do you know if I can send them later?

3- Do you have any idea of how fast the current 500 applications allotted for this year will be filled up?

Yes, the second line read "We started processing your application on May 20, 2014", the day I got he RCMP request for my partner and the RPRF request. The MR was on the 21st.

I first saw it on the 21st or 22nd, whenever I first checked right after getting the emails.

Question for those who were requested to provide a RCMP fingerprint back ground check:

Did you have RCMP send the report directly to CIC or have RCMP send the report to yourself first for forwarding to CIC.

I ask because my partner had her fingerprints done and the Commissionaire convinced her to have RCMP report sent to her first.

May I have two federal skill worker applications at the same time (one in the PhD stream and the other one in one of the new 50 eligible occupations announced in May 1, 2014) and in both of them be the main applicant?
If yes, which application will be shown in the "check your application status online" when I enter my UCI number?
I am asking because I have applied under PhD stream category on February 2014, however my work experience is announced in the new 50 eligible occupations. I guess the processing time of the new category is faster than the PhD stream, so I want to apply under this new category as well. All of my documents are ready, just need to be sent.
